To all the women in my life
I praise you for your inner strength
For your courage
For waking up each day and trying again
For stepping out on the good days
For stepping out on the bad
For making it through when life gets messy
For celebrating when life is good
For building community and caring for friends
For making a difference, even if it’s just for you
We are creators, that’s how we’re made
And sometimes we forget
So, on this beautiful day, I’d like you to stop, look in the mirror and say
